Call for Papers: JIAS February 2024 Issue

The Journal of Indian and Asian Studies (JIAS) invites scholars, researchers, and academics from all over the world to submit their unpublished, original work of research articles and book reviews for publication in its February 2024 issue. The journal is an academic, biannual, open-access journal, published jointly by the Institute of Indian Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (South Korea) and the World ScientificPublishing Co. Pte. Ltd. (Singapore).

The JIAS aims to promote theoretically and empirically rich interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies that contribute to understanding issues in India and Asia at local, national, and international levels. Particularly, the journal encourages studies that integrate 'theories of transition' from the broad spectrum of social sciences and humanities. Besides, the journal is committed to providing a much-needed platform to promote studies that add new perspectives on Indian and Asian studies beyond the usual circuits of European and North-American scholarship. JIAS warmly invites all interested young, early-career researchers, including graduate students, to submit their manuscripts.

Peer Reviews:

All articles published in the journal undergo rigorous double-blind peer-review to ensure their academic quality and contribution.

Book Reviews:

The JIAS also invites submissions for book reviews. We publish reviews of those books that meet the aims and scope of the journal.

Notice:

All manuscripts must be prepared according to the ‘Submission Guidelines” which are provided in the attachment and available on the journal website. Only those articles that the reviewers recommend will be published in the journal.
